Engine Configuration
This engine features an in-line 6-cylinder design, which provides a smooth and balanced operation. The 6-cylinder configuration offers good power output and torque characteristics, making it suitable for demanding tasks. With a displacement of approximately 19 liters, it has the capacity to generate substantial power, typically ranging from 506 to 800 horsepower (377 - 597 kW) in its diesel variant, allowing it to handle heavy workloads with ease.
Advanced Fuel System
The QSK19-C860 is equipped with a sophisticated fuel system. It utilizes high-pressure injection technology, such as the modular common rail fuel system (MCRS), which enables precise control of fuel delivery. This results in more efficient combustion, improving fuel economy and reducing emissions. The electronic fuel pumps can deliver injection pressures of up to 1600 bar, eliminating the need for mechanical linkage adjustments and enhancing the overall performance and reliability of the engine.
Turbocharging and Air Intake
